Tucked away in north county San Diego is Vista Valley Country Club. This has to be one of San Diego’s most beautiful venues and one of my personal favorites. The club is surrounded by rolling mountains and provides Tuscan inspired architecture. Couples have the choice to have their wedding reception inside in their newly renovated clubhouse or their private garden. The ceremony site features 18th century gates and columns imported from Provence, France. This stunning venue is the perfect backdrop to your big day!
Our sweet couple, Monica and JC, traveled from Texas to have their wedding here in San Diego. I loved how much fun this group had! The smiles were constant and everyone truly enjoyed every moment. Come along with me and see this beautiful day unfold!
The morning started off with the ladies in their adorable robes. Vista Valley has a gorgeous bridal suite you can get ready in. Like cmon, look at this gold mirror! You can also get some sunshine and enjoy the balcony.
The venue also offers a grooms suite but the gentlemen wanted to take a peak outside. As you can see, there really is no bad place to take photos here. You are constantly surrounded by mountains or lovely architecture. The boys cheersed to a happy day and had a fun time taking photos together.
While the boys were having fun on the balcony, the ladies went downstairs to take in the venue’s beauty. This spot has to be my favorite part about this venue. It feels like you’ve been transported to a different country.
I loved our grooms suit! This emerald green was so unique and it paired beautifully with the venue’s surroundings.
Our bride was an absolute dream. Her bright and beautiful bouquet was the perfect contrast against her gown.
Are you team first look or first touch? If you do not want to see each other before the ceremony, I would definitely recommend doing a first touch. This is the perfect time to take a quiet moment with each other. You can exchange gifts, say a prayer or say personal vows. It’s a special moment and really helps calm the nerves before the big ceremony takes place.
The ceremony took place at Provence Garden. This space is filled with lush greenery, market lighting and trickling water fountains, There was a live guitarist and violinist that played. Live music brings something special to your ceremony. I always love when the live music continues into cocktail hour.
As the precessional music began playing, the groom walked down with his parents. The bridal party followed after and our precious flower girl prepared the way for our bride. Vista Valley is know for these fabulous gates. We close them right before our bride walks out so she gets her grand entrance. Our bride walked down the aisle with her dad and our groom was left breathless.
These smiles say it all! The ceremony had laughs and happy tears. Everyone could feel the love of these two.
With our groom being Jewish, we had to incorporate the traditional custom of the breaking of the glass! Everyone cheered and our newlyweds headed back down the aisle.
The joy in these photos is priceless! As cocktail hour was happening, our bride and groom snuck away for some newlywed portraits. Not only do you get some exceptional photos but you also get one on one time with each other. It’s a great time to be together, slow down and enjoy the moment.
Cocktail hour took place in the charming garden and tasty appetizers were tray passed. Guests enjoyed the live music and cool breeze and special moments were captured.
The french gates were the perfect backdrop for our wedding party photos!
Our bride and groom chose to do their reception in the clubhouse. I adore these chandeliers that hang here. Each menu had a place card and color wax seal to indicate their meal choice. The couple opted for a large cake and went with cupcakes. These were some of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had!
Reception kicked off with dinner, toasts and cake cutting and was followed with a ton of dancing. This group knows how to have fun!
And we can’t forget an unforgettable sparkler grand exit! I love that Vista Valley allows you to do this, as many venues do not. It was the perfect end to an incredible day.
