This summer San Diego wedding was one for the books. I had the absolute pleasure working with Sarah and Anthony. They booked my full planning package, so I was with them every step of the way. From their budget, to their venue to the design, they had me in their corner to make sure everything went perfectly. Sarah’s wedding vision was stunning and I loved every single part of it! We were on the same page about everything, I understood the assignment. Follow along to see some gorgeous photos taken by our wonderful photographer, Camila Margotta Photography.

Flatlay shots are a MUST! Be sure to give your photographer extra time to capture these details. Some things to include are your invitations, rings, wedding day accessories, vow books, perfume/cologne, your bouquet and boutonnieres and your wedding day champagne.

First off, can we just admire the pretty details on the bride’s dress?! So stunning. Sarah and her girls got ready at their makeup artists studio. It was the perfect spot. After getting glammed up, our photographer captured some special moments of all the ladies.

Sarah and Anthony decided to do their first look in Balboa Park. One of my favorite places in San Diego! There are so many different places in the park to take photos and the architecture is beautiful. Our couple was able to really enjoy their first look in a private setting away from the bustle.

I adore theses photos! I can’t begin to tell you how sweet this couple is. The love they have for each other and others is seen and admired. I also love when a groom sheds a tear. All the emotions lead up to these special moments. Our photographer did beautiful job capturing it.

Our wedding party was looking sharp! My absolute favorite color is this pale blue the girls have on. I’m so I’m happy we could include it in the attire. The boys navy suits were the perfect match! I’m also obsessed with the European architecture in these photos!

Our flower girl was beyond cute! These precious photos stole the show. Nothing but smiles and core memories being made here!

YES, the groom needs portraits too! This is your time to shine, gentlemen. Don’t worry, your photographer will guide you and tell you how to pose. How great does our groom look?! I truly love the navy suit and bowtie.

Our bride was absolutely stunning. Everything about her screamed gorgeous. I loved the off the shoulder sleeves on her dress and all the beautiful details that shined through on her train. Her hair and makeup were perfect and brought our her natural beauty. And of course, her fabulous bouquet was the ultimate accessory. Angelica from Angelical Flowers is incredible!

So many perfect moments between these two. Sarah and Anthony chose to do a first look, so they were able to take their photos before the wedding. Getting most of your photos done with before the ceremony starts will allow you to enjoy the event more. I recommend couples go this route!

I am a sucker for black and white photos! So classic and glamourous. Here are some of my favorites.

We held cocktail hour and reception at the Ultimate Skybox. The view is incredible! You get the best view of San Diego, including Petco Park and the Coronado Bridge. We got creative with our bar sign and had our florist create a surrounding floral installation. We had yummy appetizers from The Abbey Catering served as guests snapped photos of the view.

Our bride is Chaldean, so we had to of course include some of her wonderful traditions! The drummers made way for the bride and groom and their family and friends danced and welcomed the couple to open up the reception portion of the night. It was such a fun grand entrance!

Our bride’s vision for the wedding was elegant and had touches of European flares. She loved the different shades of blues, as did I! To elevate the space, we upgraded our linens and flatware. The white and gold chargers paired perfectly with our custom place cards. Each tassel color determined what guests ordered. Our florist did a beautiful job on creating a timeless look and you can’t beat this view! At night, the candles popped and created an intimate space for dinner and dancing.

These desserts by Jenny Wenny Cakes were delightful! We had a 3 tier pistachio, almond flavored cake with rose and vanilla buttercream. The assorted desserts included berry cheesecake cups, hazelnut praline trifles, pistachio shortbread with rose frosting, fruit tarts and berry streusel bars.

One of my favorite moments of the evening is the first dance. Our couple decided to do their dance after dinner and toasts so the sun had set and we had a stunning view of the San Diego lights.

After the first dance, it was time to party! The guests were on the dance floor all night. There were so many special moments between friends and family. We had a beautiful end to an exceptional day.
