This chic photoshoot took place at Carmel Mountain Ranch Estate, a spot I always held close to my heart in San Diego. Although it’s no longer with us, we were fortunate enough to capture some stunning moments here, ensuring we have these cherished memories and timeless photographs.

Our photographer, Vanessa, and I had a vision where black served as the key accent color in our design. It all began with this single detail and our creativity flourished from there. Our aim was to infuse a garden-inspired theme with a contemporary twist, blending the best of both worlds. We were thrilled to have The Bridal Press a part of this design. This wonderful stationery business excels in crafting high-end wedding stationery that sets a luxurious tone for celebrations and weddings. The addition of black menus was an ideal complement to our table arrangement and we seamlessly integrated Bella Belle’s exquisite black lace shoes as a distinctive and captivating detail.

We aimed to embrace the essence of autumn, opting for cozy, warm tones with vibrant pops of deep green for the floral arrangements, while our groom donned a stylish velvet tuxedo, perfectly capturing the seasonal charm. Additionally, our bride graced the occasion in a remarkable gown from Archive Bridal, featuring intricate and unique puffy sleeves that added a touch of individuality and charm to her bridal ensemble.

The ceremony was adorned with captivating black cathedral windows sourced from Enticing Tables. Our talented florist added a touch of floral elegance to perfectly finish the look. Accompanied by the soothing and romantic melodies played by a harpist, the moment became exceptionally special and filled with romance.

In our quest to enhance the overall ambience, we decided to include a classic car. Our choice was the pristine white Porsche Speedster from Seaside Classics in San Diego. This elegant vehicle seamlessly complemented our aesthetic, and the shots of it, alongside the couple, were simply breathtaking. Adding some florals to the back of the car was the finishing touch that brought together the stunning look we had envisioned.

When it came to the dining setup, I took great care to elevate the design by opting for premium and upscale linens and chairs, ensuring an enhanced look and feel. We intentionally adopted a more minimalist approach when it came to the table, focusing on the exquisite hanging greenery in the captivating gold chandeliers above. We played with various textures and colors, resulting in a stunning and harmonious combination that came together beautifully.

Carmel Mountain Ranch Estate boasted a truly picturesque runway of Cyprus trees and we couldn’t resist the allure. The couple celebrated with a joyful champagne toast, making for a delightful and carefree moment.

Our cake, a masterpiece crafted by the incredibly talented Peggy Liao, was a true work of art. Her skillful design incorporated the black accents we desired, achieving a modern aesthetic while preserving its innate elegance.

As the day drew to a close, we captured some captivating sunset portraits around the property. It was a truly beautiful day and witnessing the couple bask in their love during these moments was a heartwarming experience.
