Nestled in the hills of San Marcos, Twin Oaks Golf Course served as the perfect backdrop for J & E’s charming fall wedding. Surrounded by lush greenery and blooming white roses, this venue offered timeless beauty and natural elegance. The couple took full advantage of San Diego’s crisp fall weather, opting for both an outdoor ceremony and reception, where guests were treated to sunshine, love, and thoughtful details at every turn.

Featured on Carat and Cake– The day began with getting ready moments that were both stylish and sentimental. The bride and groom looked absolutely dapper in their wedding attire—every detail from the bride’s gown to the groom’s tailored suit was on point. Beautiful flatlays captured the couple’s custom stationery and accessories, setting the tone for a day filled with personality and love.

Their first look was one of the sweetest moments of the day. The groom’s emotional reaction to seeing his bride for the first time was unforgettable, and their portraits captured their connection so effortlessly. The genuine smiles, quiet moments, and little glances between them made for a stunning set of images.

The ceremony was nothing short of magical. Guests were welcomed by an aisle lined with lush blooms leading to a classic floral arch accented with soft pinks. Bentwood chairs added a touch of vintage charm, and custom newspaper programs offered a fun and personal touch. With live string music from a cello and harp floating through the air, the entire setting felt like a romantic dream.

Cocktail hour brought both flavor and fun. Guests sipped on signature cocktails and enjoyed tray-passed bites while finding their seats through a unique seating chart—a custom sign that read “We are fortunate for you” paired with fortune cookies holding each guest’s table number. It was playful, interactive, and a favorite detail of the day. We especially loved the pink and white patterned cocktail linens, which tied into the wedding design perfectly.

As the sun began to set, the reception space transformed into something truly breathtaking. Textured linens, warm wood chairs, soft pink florals, and glowing candlelight came together under twinkling market lights. Before guests entered, J & E took a private first look at their reception—soaking in all the beauty and intention they had planned. It was a quiet, special moment just for them.

Dinner was served, wine was poured, and the celebration continued with a fun champagne tower moment that had everyone cheering. The cake cutting followed, with their stunning cake positioned perfectly in front of the ceremony arch, creating a gorgeous backdrop. Once the party started, the energy was unmatched—J & E and their guests danced the night away, closing out a day that was filled with unforgettable joy, love, and beauty.
